Audiology Center

The Center for Audiological Services was established in 1971 as the Austine Hearing Center. The Center’s goal is to provide quality, affordable audiological services to the general community in southeastern Vermont and to students at the Austine School for the Deaf.

The Center provides complete audiological evaluations for adults and children, hearing aid evaluation and repair and hearing aid dispensing and supplies. Highly-qualified staff sell and service many makes and models of hearing instruments, from the most basic analog hearing aids to the most advanced digital aids. All services are provided by ASHA (American Speech and Hearing Association) certified audiologists holding Vermont State hearing aid dispenser licenses.

The Assistive Technology Center at the Center for Audiological services was established in 1994 through a grant from the state of Vermont. The Assistive Technology Center provides people the opportunity to test and purchase assistive equipment. There is a demonstration area to view and test equipment which is presently available by appointment. All equipment sold includes a 30-day return policy.
