The Vermont Interpreter Referral Service (VIRS) provides statewide interpreter and Computer Assisted Realtime Translation (CART) referral services for American Sign Language (ASL)/spoken English/oral interpreting assignments in settings such as medical, legal, mental health, employment, educational, civil and recreational situations.
We also provide advocacy for consumers and information about the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to requesters who do not understand their responsibility for being accessibility.
